NOISE IN MY KITCHEN

MY INVOLVEMENT WITH THE ALL-AGES BOOKING COLLECTIVE, CLUB SANDWICH, LED TO MY EXPOSURE TO EXPERIMENTAL FILM.

As a volunteer member of this group, I hosted a series of music shows called Noise In My Kitchen at my apartment in the Mission District of San Francisco. Each show included a homemade vegan dinner (the menus of which were usually created by Leif Hedendal), a poster designed by a local artist, and an available couch for touring bands to crash on. With the help of Lauren Sorensen, I also programmed experimental film screenings utilizing films from Canyon Cinema's catalogue for the Club Sandwich collective.
